Happy New Year! We're back to classes tomorrow, January 3rd, at Northdale Park and Recreation Center.

Last Saturday, December 13th, our Winter Team competed at the 2025 Southwest Florida Championships at the Ft. Meyers Skatium. After training hard for several weeks, we brought home great results!

Congratulations to our Poomsae athletes for their mastery of Taegeuk forms and their continuous practice. So proud of everyone's individual performances!

We also competed in full-contact Sparring. Iurii won against his first opponent and won SILVER after a very close fight with his second opponent. Paxton fought three hard rounds against his opponent and won GOLD! We are proud of both Iurii and Paxton for their excellent display of fighting spirit, offensive and defensive techniques that we practiced during training, and their sportsmanship. Well done!

2. Congratulations to all our Promotion Testers! We had our 14th Crosskick Promotion Test on Tuesday, December 16th. So proud of everyone's new belts!

Afterwards, we will be closed for the rest of January because Mr. Joel and I will be getting married and taking a short trip afterwards! Classes will resume on Monday, February 2nd.

4. Billing adjustments. We were originally scheduled to resume our monthly payments on your first class of the month, but we had to close early in December because I was sick with the flu! We will now resume monthly billing one week after your first February class.

5. Sparring gear and uniforms. We've encountered issues with our current supplier and are switching to a new World Taekwondo-approved brand called Mooto beginning next week! My apologies for the delays in uniform and sparring gear arrivals. We're excited to move forward and start the year with a new uniform and sparring gear brand. If you'd like to purchase a second uniform for your child, please let me know.

6. Our Crosskick phone number, 813-336-2053, has been dropping in texting signal. As a result, several of you did not receive my texts announcing that I was sick with the flu and had to cancel class in December. My apologies for this! We'll be switching to a more reliable line in the next few weeks. Please bear with me and check your emails, since I will be sending email reminders as a backup.
